Individually shaped from locally sourced, sustainably harvested native hardwoods, this functional art piece merges a minimalist, mid-century modern silhouette with a charming organic design. CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Display your stopper in a low-light or indirect light area to prevent the wood from discoloring in direct sunlight.
  • Never submerge the wood in water. To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • The stainless steel bottle stopper should be washed with a soft cloth, soap, and water. Do not use abrasive tool or detergents.

SMALL STUDIO PRODUCTION

Every Kaioka piece is carefully crafted by hand by a Michigan-based family of woodworking artists. Brett transforms raw, sustainably sourced lumber into blanks, spindles, and glue-ups and prepares them for the lathe. Kyle then masterfully turns and finishes the birds, trees, mushrooms, and other shapes, bringing out the wood’s rich, natural beauty.

NATURAL WOOD CHARACTERISTICS

This unique wooden bottle stopper is made from genuine Michigan maple, cherry, and walnut. Because every piece is handmade from natural timber, beautiful imperfections like small knots, unique grain ripples, and slight color variations are to be expected and celebrated.
